Our Mission

To create more and better employment opportunities for its region through the recruitment, expansion and retention of industry and business in each of its partnering entities. The Authority believes that to achieve such economic development success the region must present a unified front of community, business, government and civic leaders. Therefore, it is essential that the Authority be a leader among other organizations and entities in this region, and Arkansas by designing, implementing and managing a program to foster cooperation and collaboration among these entities.

Target Industries

The Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority area is the perfect location for a variety of industries. Thanks to Williams Baptist College and Black River Technical College, we have a diverse trained and educated workforce. We are rich in agriculture. Our area is home to row crops including rice and soybeans, poultry farming, and cattle farming.

Because numerous Interstates, U.S. & State Highways running through Northeast Arkansas, logistics is never a worry. We are centrally located in the United States with motor freight being only a one to two day transit to most of the country.
